Newbow Aerospace, a design, manufacturer and supplier of Ground Support Equipment to the aviation industry, announces a firm order from Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, for a significant number of its 2-bottle ‘easy-load’ Nitrogen service carts.

The order for eleven ‘easy-load’ nitrogen service carts and additional charging systems will be supplied to Flybe to support their line and base maintenance activities and will be manufactured by Newbow’s highly qualified engineers at their facility in Redditch, UK.

The ‘easy-load’ cart design incorporates all relevant Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements for manual handling. This will allow Flybe engineers to undertake the necessary gas replenishment task safely, accurately and efficiently.

Tiffany Shaw, Key Account Manager for Newbow Aerospace said: “Newbow Aerospace is proud to be awarded this order from our valued and long-standing customer, Flybe.

“Our ‘easy-load’ range of nitrogen and oxygen carts are now regarded as the industry standard for quality, safety and reliability and this is testament to the recent order received.  We look forward to the ‘easy-load nitrogen carts entering service where they will enhance Flybe’s maintenance operation.”

Keith Earnden, Director of Engineering & Maintenance for Flybe comments: “We awarded this order to Newbow Aerospace based on the superior technical merit and benefits of their ‘easy-load’ carts.”
