Plastics Recycling Show Europe

The Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRS Europe) exhibition and conference takes place in Hall 11 at the RAI Amsterdam on April 24th and 25th, 2018.

More than 100 companies and organisations from across Europe will be displaying their plastics recycling expertise.

The biggest names in recycled materials, recycling machinery and services will showcase the latest innovations from this fast-growing industry.



Until recently the plastics recycling industry has had a relatively low profile with more than 50% of plastics in Europe being sent to landfill.

Today the situation is changing fast and more than 1,800 plastics recycling professionals are expected to attend the event, which is free to attend.

The exhibition opens at 10.00am on April 24th. The conference will be officially opened by Dutch State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management, Stientje van Veldhoven, at 10.10am.

The informative and inspirational conference will address the latest challenges and opportunities that face the plastic recycling industry in Europe.

Carlo Pettinelli, Director for Consumer, Environmental and Health Technologies (European Commission)

Davor Škrlec MEP

Anne-Cecile Turner, Sustainability Programme Leader, Volvo Ocean Race

The event will also see the winners announced of the first Plastics Recycling Awards Europe, in a presentation taking place at 13.30 on the second day, April 25th.

The awards cover five categories: Building & Construction Product Made from Recycled Plastic of the Year, Recycled Plastic Packaging Product of the Year, Technology Innovation in Plastics Recycling of the Year, Recycled Plastics Consumer Lifestyle Product of the Year and Plastics Recycling Ambassador of the Year. All the finalists’ entries will feature in a dedicated showcase area within the exhibition.
