Terminal blocks feature the push in connection

Conrad Business Supplies added the extended A range of Weidmüller’sKlippon Connect terminal blocks, expanding its portfolio of electromechanical solutions for control cabinet design.

Weidmüller’s Klippon Connect A-Series of terminal blocks now features the PUSH IN connection technology.

As part of the terminal block portfolio, a universal version and an application version are available for respective requirements.

The universal range includes protective earth terminal blocks, fuse terminals, feed-through terminals, multi-level distribution terminal blocks, test series terminals and neutral terminal blocks.

When using these terminals with solid conductors and conductors with ferrules, connection times can be greatly reduced.

All conductors are connected directly without tools, making the wiring fast and secure.

Coloured pushers prevent wiring errors and speed up the installation process.

The universal terminal blocks of the Klippon Connect A-Series can be used in any combination and snapped onto the TS35 mounting rail.

The identical shape of individual terminal blocks makes it easy to distribute potential and secured potential.

Two continuous, standardised cross-connection channels increase flexibility and save wiring time. All cross connectors can be easily adapted and marked.

Klippon Connect terminal blocks also offer standardised test taps for 2mm standard test plug. This makes measurements, wiring tests and troubleshooting very quick and easy.

“Klippon Connect is a unique solution for control cabinet design. Users opting for the universal range can implement tailor-made solutions with a uniform standard and optimise the entire control cabinet design process. Klippon Connect is easy to use, requires little space in the control cabinet and shortens the assembly time. It fits perfectly into our range of services for B2B customers”, says Jürgen Spörl, Head of Product Group Strategic Brands at Conrad Business Supplies.

“In almost all industries, there are certain applications that require recurring components in the control cabinet. That’s why we have developed our Klippon Connect application program”, explains Andre Remke, Product Engineer at Weidmüller. “It includes customised application products to increase productivity and safety and is characterised by a targeted arrangement and adaptation of the product functions to the respective application area. In addition, our application program offers the advantage of efficiency in all phases of switch cabinet design.”

Within the scope of the application program, the A-Series motor terminals with a width of 5.1mm are particularly notable for the efficient connection of three-phase motors.

With the premise ‘one terminal block per motor’, users can achieve an uncluttered structure inside the control cabinet, which is a great benefit in the face of increasing complexity of today’s systems.

The control current distribution maxGUARD, with integrated electronic load monitoring, completes the offer for reliable overcurrent protection as well as clear and structured power distribution.

The modular maxGUARD system integrates separately-installed terminal blocks for potential distribution in the outputs of electronic load monitoring designs as one complete solution (in a 24VDC control current distribution).

The new and efficient combination of load monitoring and potential distribution builds an innovative overall system that saves installation time, increases reliability and reduces the footprint on the mounting rail by up to 50%.
