RS Components (RS) has released a new series called The DesignSpark Podcast<\/em><\/a><\/strong>, which explores some of the hottest topics in tech through a mix of fun facts, exuberant stand-up, outlandish sketches and foot-tapping songs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The podcast offers educational information on each technology, while also delivering a highly entertaining comedy experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weekly podcast is co-hosted by tech expert Dr Lucy Rogers \u2013 former judge on BBC\u2019s Robot Wars<\/em>, founder of the Guild of Makers<\/a><\/strong> and a DesignSpark blogger \u2013 alongside award-winning comedians Bec Hill and Harriet Braine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trio are reunited following the 5-star-rated History Makers<\/em> podcast series last autumn, which reached a high of number 4 in the Apple iTunes Tech Chart and explored inventors throughout history who influenced everything from artificial intelligence to 3D manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working in collaboration with Why Did The Chicken?<\/a><\/strong>, a new episode of The DesignSpark Podcast<\/em> will be released every Monday for the next six weeks with the first episode available today HERE<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topics coming under the telescopic sights of Dr Lucy, Bec and Harriet will include AI, social media, big data, robotics and space exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFollowing on from the success of our first DesignSpark podcast series, these new episodes will feature a new show with a new format, exploring the world of modern technology with a difference,\u201d said Leonie Clayson, DesignSpark Community Manager. \u201cIt offers a perfect entertaining blend of technology and comedy in an audio capsule that is easy to download to smartphones and other electronically based thingamajigs for consumption at home, at work, or anywhere in between.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
