These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Completing a task with no faults \u2013 68.7% \u00a0  <\/li><li>Having your skills tested on a difficult task \u2013 36.1% \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>Feeling like you\u2019re helping people \u2013 31.3% \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>Praise from your manager \u201328.9% \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>Given the lead role on a new project \u2013 19.3% \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>Leaving at the end of the day \u2013 18.1% \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>A compliment from a colleague \u2013 18.1% \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>Getting to work on time \u2013 13.3% \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>Taking maximum breaks and leaving on time \u2013 7.2% \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>Having little\/no work to do \u2013 1.2% \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s more, despite the majority of engineers feeling happy on a day-to-day basis and enjoying the work they do, 12% state that their job doesn\u2019t bring them any joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee Biggins, founder and CEO of CV-Library, comments: \u201cWe spend most of our life at work, so if you don\u2019t enjoy what you do or who you work with, you\u2019ll never truly maximise your potential or be happy in yourself. By understanding what drives you; whether that\u2019s helping others or managing a team, you\u2019ll gain more clarity on what to focus on at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat said, if you really aren\u2019t enjoying your work, then maybe it\u2019s time for a change. There are plenty of job opportunities in\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cv-library.co.uk\/jobs\/engineering\">engineering right<\/a><\/strong> now, so don\u2019t feel forced to stay at a company that clearly isn\u2019t making you happy.
