{"id":14934,"date":"2019-12-05T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-12-05T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/?p=14934"},"modified":"2019-12-04T11:13:45","modified_gmt":"2019-12-04T11:13:45","slug":"self-contained-displacement-sensor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/self-contained-displacement-sensor\/","title":{"rendered":"Self-contained displacement sensor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Measuring Division of Kaman Precision Products, Inc, introduces an off the shelf, self-contained analogue output displacement sensor ideal for high-precision, and high-repeatability applications.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kamansensors.com\" target=\"_blank\">SC-2440 system<\/a><\/strong> is for applications featuring high-precision automated assembly, OEM applications with on-board computing power, and any application with high repeatability requirements. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The low-cost SC-2440 requires no calibration and is available for immediate delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The temperature of the sensor is continuously monitored, and the circuit provides a voltage output of 0.5 to 1.2 VDC from 0 to 70\u00b0 C.
