RS Components has assembled a range of Protective Measures product solutions<\/a><\/strong> designed to protect and support employees returning to work in production facilities and commercial premises as the COVID-19 restrictions start to ease.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For workers who are based at home, RS has also introduced home office bundles that will help them stay connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individual Hygiene Kits contain products to minimise the spread of germs and infection in the workplace. These basic prevention kits include hand sanitiser gel to decrease bacteria and kill germs where soap and water are not readily available, a non-woven three-ply face mask suitable for use in non-medical industries, and either facial tissues or antibacterial wipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two varieties of RS PRO Janitorial Kits comprising shadow (equipment storage) boards fully stocked with cleaning equipment, are available in red or blue, enabling a colour-coded system to be implemented to streamline workplace procedures, segregate departments, and identify missing items at a glance. This is vital, particularly in industries such as food and beverage, where the risk of cross-contamination is high and a serious hazard to health. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each kit contains a hand brush, a dustpan, a broom, and fixings: one version adds a D-grip shovel; the other adds a mop, a bucket and a warning A-board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RS PRO Home Office Bundles deliver technology that enables workers to stay connected and productive at home. Two versions are offered: one includes a 720P PC USB webcam, PC 3.5mm headset with microphone, and a USB powered 2.1 PC speaker set; the other contains a 1080P PC USB webcam, 2.1 PC\/Bluetooth\/SD\/FM\/USB\/AUX multimedia speaker set with remote, and a PC 3.5mm headset with flip down microphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to these kits and bundles, RS has added around 120 new product variants to its existing rich RS PRO offer that further support the demand for protective measures against the COVID-19 virus. These span across the facilities management, janitorial, cleansing and hygiene, home office, and pressure and temperature sensors ranges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples of new product introductions include a non-contact IR thermometer, body temperature measurement and thermal imaging instruments, plus floor graphics and wall signage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RS is also stocking a number of existing bundles in its RS PRO range that will provide additional protective measures, for zone working, safe distancing, cleaning, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
