Mouser Electronics is now stocking the FS1406 \u00b5POL DC-DC power modules<\/a><\/strong> from TDK. Offering 15 W of output power in a minuscule 3.3mm \u00d7 3.3mm \u00d7 1.5mm package, the highly compact point-of-load modules support a range of high-performance applications, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data, 5G cells, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TDK FS1406 \u00b5POL DC-DC power modules, available from Mouser Electronics, integrate the matching MOSFET, inductor, and driver in a single semiconductor embedded in substrate (SESUB) package, drastically reducing the device\u2019s form factor by up to 50% when compared with modules using side-by-side integrated circuit and inductor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The modules feature an on-chip pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller, integrated MOSFETs, and incorporated inductors and capacitors, resulting in a highly accurate regulator with extremely high power density of 1 watt per mm\u00b3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plug-and-play devices reduce system cost and design time, and are ideal for industrial applications that require high power density, including network communications, servers, and storage.
