It can automatically run from 400, 440, or 480Vac nominal delta or WYE inputs, without wiring changes or the need for large, costly step-down transformers. This industrial grade power supply is for use in applications including test and measurement equipment, semiconductor fabrication, additive manufacturing, printers, laser cutting and RF power amplifiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TPS4000 series has, as standard, output voltage and current programming, AC fail, DC good and dropped phase warning signals, configurable remote on\/off, 12V 0.3A standby voltage and a PMBus interface. Using this interface allows the remote monitoring of the output voltage and current, internal temperature, status signals and fan speed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PMBus can also program the output voltage, over current limit and the remote on\/off. The output voltage is adjustable from 38.4 &#8211; 58V and the current limit point by 70-105% using front panel potentiometers or an analogue 0-5Vdc voltage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To facilitate the easy parallel operation of up to 8 units, for redundant or higher power requirements, an internal ORing FET is included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Excluding the output busbars, the unit measures 107 x 84.4 x 335mm, making it suitable for 2U high racking systems.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TPS4000 has a low weight of just 4kg and a typical efficiency of 92%. The TPS can start up at -40\u00b0C, operate at full load in ambient temperatures of -10\u00b0C to +50\u00b0C, and deliver 55% load at 70\u00b0C.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The variable speed, temperature-controlled cooling fan reduces acoustic noise and the ingress of contaminants. The power supply has 3kVac input to output, 2kVac input to ground and 500Vdc output to ground isolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three-year warranty TPS is safety certified to IEC\/EN\/UL 62368-1 and is CE marked to the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS Directives.
