The main capacity addition in the US would be from an announced project, Ascension Clean Energy Donaldsonville Ammonia Plant, which is expected to come online in 2027 with a capacity of 7.20mtpa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nivedita concludes: &#8220;Mexico and Canada are the other major contributors to ammonia capacity additions in the North American region.
