Increased use of ammonia as a fertilizer in the agriculture industry for improved crop productivity is expected to lead to an increase in demand for ammonia in the US. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nivedita Roy, Oil and Gas Analyst at GlobalData, Comments: &#8220;In the US, the main capacity addition would be from an announced project, Ascension Clean Energy Donaldsonville Ammonia Plant with a capacity of 7.2mtpa. The project is expected to commence production of ammonia in 2027.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CF Industries and Mitsui Ascension Parish Ammonia Plant follows next with capacity addition of 1.7mtpa.
