The NPS4053 is an integrated circuit (IC) that provides precise power control and enhanced safety features for a wide range of applications, including portable devices, desktops, docking stations, and automotive infotainment systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NPS4053 features a 55 m\u03a9 self-protected MOSFET that efficiently manages the flow of power to the load. The device also includes programmable current-limiting circuitry, allowing precise control of the load current over a range of 110 mA to 2.5 A with an accuracy of +6%. Additionally, the NPS4053 supports &#8220;true&#8221; reverse current blocking, providing robust end-to-end system protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NPS4053 is UL 62368 recognised and is available in both leaded and leadless (HWSON 6) packages.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key benefits of the NPS4053 include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Smaller footprint:<\/strong> The NPS4053 is an integrated circuit (IC), which provides a smaller footprint than a comparable network of discrete components.
