China is the largest producer and consumer of ABS in the world. Growing demand for ABS is further necessitating the capacity additions in the country.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In China, Shandong Yulong Petrochemical Longkou ABS Plant is a major upcoming project with a capacity of 0.60mtpa. The plant is currently under the commissioning stage and is expected to commence production of ABS this year. Shandong Yulong Petrochemical is the operator with a 90% equity stake in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Jilin Petrochemical Company Jilin ABS Plant 5 is another important upcoming plant in the country, which is expected to start operations with a similar capacity of 0.60mtpa.
