Driven by the growth of these industries that heavily rely on benzene-derived products, the Indian market is experiencing a substantial increase in demand.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In India, the highest capacity addition is expected from the Reliance Industries Jamnagar Benzene Plant 3 with a capacity of 1.60mtpa. Located in the Gujarat state, the plant is anticipated to commence benzene production in 2030. Reliance Industries Ltd is the operator of this plant with 100% equity stake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second highest capacity addition in the country is from Haldia Petrochemicals Cuddalore Benzene Plant. The plant is expected to begin operations in 2029 with an annual production capacity of 0.68mtpa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Nayara Energy Vadinar Benzene Plant and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Bina Benzene Plant represent other significant capacity additions with 0.50 mtpa and 0.30 mtpa, respectively.
