The software update enables more feature-rich Bluetooth-based management of daylight harvesting, improved functionality to access multiple wireless networks in larger buildings, upgraded implementation of warm dimming, and easier development of smart rotary switches by luminaire manufacturers.<\/p>\n

Available on both Apple and Android platforms, the new release supports daylight management via standalone sensors or sensors integrated into luminaires to allow dimming of artificial lighting when enough daylight is available, to improve light quality and deliver energy savings.<\/p>\n

Enabling Bluetooth mesh network-based lighting control without needing a wired gateway or Wi-Fi network connection, the Casambi platform already offers support for presence sensors to automatically control smart luminaires and light bulbs individually or in groups when a space is occupied.
