The new devices achieve typical current consumption of 0.2mA per channel while supporting data rates of up to 25Mbps. Applications include programmable logic controllers (PLCs), I/O interfaces, sensors, actuators, motor drives, inverters and switching power supplies.

The DCL34xx0B series operates from supply voltages of 2.25V to 5.5V and provides a minimum isolation voltage of 3000Vrms. Housed in a compact SSOP16 package, the devices support operation across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Using Toshiba’s magnetic-coupling isolation technology, the new devices provide isolated signal transmission while maintaining low power consumption.
