The MAXXDRIVE series offers torques from 6,800 to 282,000Nm. The components are available as right-angle gear units in the power range from 1.5 to 2,150kW and as parallel gear units in the power range from 1.5 to 6,000kW. They are manufactured in a single step, ensuring that all bearing seats are exactly flush with one another. This reduces the susceptibility to errors and increases the gear unit\u2019s service life. The housings can accommodate large roller bearings, keeping friction and material wear to a minimum. In combination with case-hardened gearwheels that are precisely aligned with the shafts, the design ensures quiet running with low vibration.
