{"id":4472,"date":"2018-02-07T11:58:21","date_gmt":"2018-02-07T11:58:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/?p=4472"},"modified":"2018-02-07T11:58:21","modified_gmt":"2018-02-07T11:58:21","slug":"toshiba-releases-100v-n-channel-power-mosfets-for-industrial-applications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/toshiba-releases-100v-n-channel-power-mosfets-for-industrial-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"Toshiba releases 100V N-channel power MOSFETs for industrial applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"highlight highlight-blue\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.toshiba.semicon-storage.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toshiba Electronics Europe<\/a><\/span> has started to ship two new 100V additions to its low-voltage U-MOS IX-H N-channel power MOSFET series.<\/p>\n<p>The new devices are ideally suited to power supply applications in industrial equipment as well as motor control applications.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7565662001938327\" data-ad-slot=\"7585079586\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nFabricated with <span class=\"highlight highlight-blue\"><a href=\"https:\/\/engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/toshiba-launches-small-ldo-regulator-ics-suitable-for-iot-applications\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toshiba<\/a><\/span>\u2019s latest low-voltage U-MOS IX-H trench process, which optimises the element structure, the TPH3R70APL and TPN1200APL deliver the industry\u2019s lowest-in-class on-resistance of 3.7m\u03a9 and 11.5m\u03a9 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The devices exhibit low output charge (QOSS: 74 \/ 24nC) and low gate switch charge (QSW: 21\/7.5nC) and allows for a 4.5V logic level drive.<\/p>\n<p>Compared with current devices that the U-MOS VIII-H process, the new devices have lower key figures of merit for MOSFETs for switching applications including RDS(ON)\u0178\u00a0Qoss, and RDS(ON)\u00a0\u0178QSW.<\/p>\n<p>The TPH3R70APL is housed in a 5mm x 6mm SOP advance package and can handle drain currents (ID) up to 90A while the TPN1200APL is in a 3mm x 3mm TSON advance package and handles ID\u00a0levels up to 40A.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Toshiba Electronics Europe has started to ship two new 100V additions to its low-voltage U-MOS IX-H N-channel power MOSFET series.
