{"id":4998,"date":"2018-02-26T11:23:17","date_gmt":"2018-02-26T11:23:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/?p=4998"},"modified":"2018-02-26T11:23:17","modified_gmt":"2018-02-26T11:23:17","slug":"omron-release-finger-clicking-good-dip-switches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/omron-release-finger-clicking-good-dip-switches\/","title":{"rendered":"Omron release finger clicking good DIP switches"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"highlight highlight-blue\"><a href=\"http:\/\/components.omron.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Omron Electronic Components Europe<\/a><\/span> introduces a new series of DIP switches with 18 models delivering improved reliability and usability.<\/p>\n<p>Andries De Bruin, Senior European Product Marketing Manager, Omron, says: \u201cThe new Omron A6FR series DIP switches are more convenient to configure with the finger, due to their piano style buttons, which is a welcome feature for most users.\u00a0The range is available in either ON or OFF set soldering making them very easy to design in.\u201d<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7565662001938327\" data-ad-slot=\"7585079586\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nThe A6FR offers higher reliability through its twin slide contact mechanisms that give better contact than standard single contact push motion plates.<\/p>\n<p>The series has 18 models with between 2 and 10 poles and either short or long actuators, catering for a wide range of applications.<\/p>\n<p>The new range of Piano DIP switches is offered with through hole terminals, contact resistance of 200m\u03a9 max and ratings of 25mA 24VDC.<\/p>\n<p>The series is perfect for applications in industrial equipment, commercial devices and computer peripherals.<\/p>\n<p>For surface mounted applications, Omron also offers the A6SR full pitch and A6HR half pitch.
