This event will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas.<\/p>\n<p>Paper topics for this symposium may include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<p>* Standards for additive manufacturing<\/p>\n<p>* Applicability of existing mechanical test methods to additive manufactured parts<\/p>\n<p>* Fatigue, fracture, tensile, wear, corrosion, creep behaviour of components, fabricated using additive manufacturing<\/p>\n<p>* Effects of surface roughness, build orientation, heat treatment, size, shape, residual stress, etc<\/p>\n<p>* Development of new test methods, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Those interested in presenting at the symposium should submit a 250-300 word abstract using the online Abstract Submittal Form no later than May 25th.<\/p>\n<p>The symposium chairmen will notify you via postal mail by June 22nd of your paper\u2019s acceptance for presentation at the symposium.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Papers are invited for the ASTM International Symposium on Structural Integrity of Additive Manufactured Parts, November 7th-8th, 2018.
