{"id":8927,"date":"2018-08-20T14:25:56","date_gmt":"2018-08-20T13:25:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/?p=8927"},"modified":"2018-08-20T14:25:56","modified_gmt":"2018-08-20T13:25:56","slug":"smart-infrared-cameras-help-locate-and-diagnose-hot-spots","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/smart-infrared-cameras-help-locate-and-diagnose-hot-spots\/","title":{"rendered":"Smart infrared cameras help locate and diagnose hot spots"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RS Components (RS) has announced availability of the <span class=\"highlight highlight-blue\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uk.rs-online.com\/web\/c\/?searchTerm=np-fluke-ti-0718_uk&amp;searchType=Offers&amp;dr=N\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fluke Professional series of infrared thermal imaging camera<\/a>s<\/span>, which provides crisp and highly detailed images that help mantenance engineers and technicians to locate hot spots and diagnose potential problems in electrical systems.<\/p>\n<p>The series includes four models: the Ti300 PRO, Ti400 PRO, Ti450 PRO and the top-of-the-range model, the Ti480 PRO.<\/p>\n<p>Able to measure temperatures up to 1200\u00b0C, each camera comes with a wide range of viewing features and a high-resolution LCD touchscreen, as well as Fluke Connect, a comprehensive software platform that enables easy equipment monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>Saving time and improving the reliability of maintenance data by wirelessly syncing measurements, Fluke Connect allows technicians to optimise images, perform analytics and generate customisable reports, all of which can be exported to the Fluke Connect cloud-storage facility.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7565662001938327\" data-ad-slot=\"7585079586\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nOffering a more intuitive visual interface along with an improved and user-tested touchscreen, the cameras enable users to highlight areas that are outside pre-set \u2018normal\u2019 temperature ranges with alarms.<\/p>\n<p>The PRO series also offers increased sensitivity to visualise temperature differences, for example the NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) for the Ti450 PRO is less than 0.025\u00b0C at 30\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_8928\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8928\" style=\"width: 618px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/RS780-Fluke_Ti480_Pro.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-8928\" src=\"https:\/\/engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/RS780-Fluke_Ti480_Pro-870x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Smart infrared cameras help locate and diagnose hot spots\" width=\"618\" height=\"727\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8928\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">RS Components introduces new series of Fluke imaging cameras for equipment maintenance applications<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>All four models in the PRO series feature excellent image quality and the manufacturer\u2019s LaserSharp autofocus feature as standard, while the Ti400 and Ti480 also integrate Fluke\u2019s MultiSharp focus capability.<\/p>\n<p>Specific viewing capabilities include: spatial resolution ranging from 1.75mRad up to 0.93mRad; display resolution from 240 x 180 up to a \u2018SuperResolution\u2019 mode of 1280 x 960 for the Ti480; and a 24\u00b0 horizontal by 17\u00b0 vertical field-of-view for three models, rising to 34\u00b0 x 24\u00b0 for the Ti480.<\/p>\n<p>Each camera model comes with a standard infrared lens and: an AC power supply and battery-pack charger; two lithium-ion smart battery packs; HDMI and USB cables; and a 4GB micro-SD card.<\/p>\n<p>Complementing the series are wide-angle, macro and 2x and 4x telephoto lenses to help capture more detail when technicians are positioned close to, or far from, the application under examination.<\/p>\n<p>Other items are also available including a Bluetooth headset, tripod-mounting accessory and additional smart battery and charger.<\/p>\n<p>The Fluke PRO series of thermal imaging cameras is available now in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RS Components (RS) has announced availability of the Fluke Professional series of infrared thermal imaging cameras, which provides crisp and highly detailed images that help mantenance engineers and technicians to locate hot spots and diagnose potential problems in electrical systems.
