{"id":9411,"date":"2018-10-15T11:00:18","date_gmt":"2018-10-15T10:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/?p=9411"},"modified":"2018-10-15T11:00:18","modified_gmt":"2018-10-15T10:00:18","slug":"1u-programmable-dc-power-supply-series-extended-with-1700w-rated-models","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.engineernewsnetwork.com\/blog\/1u-programmable-dc-power-supply-series-extended-with-1700w-rated-models\/","title":{"rendered":"1U programmable DC power supply series extended with 1,700W rated models"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TDK Corporation announces the introduction of 1,700W rated models to the <span class=\"highlight highlight-blue\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uk.tdk-lambda.com\/genesysplus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TDK-Lambda GENESYS+ series of programmable DC power supplies<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>These additional units provide the capability of operating from a single phase wide range ac input of 85 to 265Vac, rather than three phase 208\/400\/480Vac.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for these lower wattage supplies include laboratory use as well as component, automotive and aerospace testing, semiconductor fabrication, solar array and battery simulation, plating and water treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The 10 new models are rated at 0V to 10V, 20V, 30V, 40V, 60V, 80V, 100V, 150V, 300V and 600V, with output currents of 0-2.8A to 0-170A, and are capable of operating in constant voltage, constant current and constant power modes.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7565662001938327\" data-ad-slot=\"7585079586\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nAll GENESYS+ 1.7kW products share a common 1U high 19-in (483mm) rack mountable chassis and weigh under 5kg. Up to four units can be connected in parallel with an auto-configuring advanced master\/slave system that provides dynamic load response and ripple and noise characteristics comparable with that of a single power supply.<\/p>\n<p>Programming across all the GENESYS+ series can be achieved by either utilising the front panel controls or remotely via LAN (LXI 1.5), USB 2.0 and RS232\/485 communications, or\u00a0 the isolated analogue control and monitoring interface (0-5V or 0-10V) which are provided as standard.<\/p>\n<p>Optional interfaces include GPIB (IEEE488.2) and the Anybus CompactCom interface platform for DeviceNet, EtherCat, Modbus, PROFIBUS and other interface options as they are released.<\/p>\n<p>Software drivers, a waveform creator and a virtual front panel GUI are provided in the software package.<\/p>\n<p>Safety features are standard in all Genesys+ power supplies, providing Safe\/Auto Re-Start, Last Setting Memory and built-in protection functions.<\/p>\n<p>Control of voltage and current slew rate, internal resistance simulation and display brightness control are all standard features.<\/p>\n<p>The five year warranty series is safety certified to IEC\/EN\/UL 60950-1, CE marked to the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS2 Directives and compliant to the industrial IEC\/EN 61326-1 standard for conducted EMI, radiated EMI and EMC immunity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TDK Corporation announces the introduction of 1,700W rated models to the TDK-Lambda GENESYS+ series of programmable DC power supplies.
