4K OLED display

The 15.6-inch display features a 40-pin embedded DisplayPort (eDP) interface which supports 8-bit RGB colour data

Display solutions and embedded systems provider, Review Display Systems (RDS) has announced the introduction of a new ultra high definition (UHD) 15.6-inch active-matrix OLED display. The CH156ZLXEWN-001 features 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, a 16:9 wide aspect ratio, and an impressive optical performance specification.

The 15.6-inch display features exceptional optical performance with a white colour temperature of 6500K that enables the OLED display to deliver a specified contrast ratio of up to 100,000:1. Colour performance is equally impressive with a wide colour gamut of 98% of Adobe RGB DCI-P3 which enables vibrant and saturated colours.

A brightness specification of 400cd/m² ensures that display images are bright, concise, with high levels of colour saturation. Wide viewing angles of 85-degrees in all directions (up, down, left, right) ensure that display images can be easily and accurately viewed.

The 15.6-inch display features a 40-pin embedded DisplayPort (eDP) interface which supports 8-bit RGB colour data and enables a colour palette of up to 16.7 million colours. The display features a pixel response time of 1mS.

Weighing just 200g, the OLED display module has compact mechanical outline dimensions of 348.22mm (l) x 215.67mm (w) x 1.102mm (d). A pixel pitch of 0.08964mm (h) x 0.08964mm (w) produces an active display area of 344.22mm (l) x 193.62mm (w). The display module has an operating temperature range -20°C to +70°C.

Typical applications include professional broadcast and media equipment, diagnostic medical systems, and instrumentation and monitoring equipment. The 4K UHD 15.6-inch CH156ZLXEWN-001 OLED display is now available immediately from Review Display Systems.
