A transflective display, neodymium magnets built into the housing and a data logger function: the VC-915 is the flagship model of Voltcraft's new multimeter series

Multimeters feature transflective display

Challenging tasks in electrical trade and energy supply as well as smooth manufacturing processes require innovative tailored testing equipment that scores highly in terms of safety, ease of use and resilience. In this context, Voltcraft’s new VC-900 multimeter series sets new standards, especially when it comes to maintenance work carried out in production halls and field work. The two products of the series are now supplied by the Conrad Sourcing Platform.

Voltcraft have designed and developed the VC-915 and VC-905 specifically with MRO service engineers in mind. Both models are IP65-waterproof and -dustproof, making them an ideal choice for factory indoor and outdoor inspections, and for checking the electrical systems of utility providers.

The highlight of the new 900 series is it transflective screen. It combines the advantages of TFT colour and LC displays. It offers brilliant contrast even in direct sunlight and excellent optical resolution in poor lighting conditions. All measurement results are accurately displayed and easy to read in any setting which is supported by using extra-large digits. A count of 6,000 (VC-905) and 20,000 (VC-915), respectively, and a basic reading accuracy of 0.6% and 0.5% further underline the professional standards of Voltcraft multimeters. Moreover, display and indicator bar allow user-defined settings.

Rubber-coated surfaces and retractable stands make sure that the device with its robust housing stays where its placed. Moreover, if there is no substrate to put it up, the multimeter can be quickly attached to any metal surface such as a switchboard cabinet doors via its built-in neodymium magnets. This leaves both hands free and enables you to work safely and smoothly. A build-in light ensures clear view of the work area, and extra-large buttons allow using the multimeter when wearing work gloves.

The VC-915 also comes with other practical features, namely a built-in data logger that documents the readings. A Bluetooth interface enables wireless transmission to mobile devices, which allows data evaluation and analysis to be carried out via a specially developed app wherever you are.
