Air circuit breaker for safer, smarter power

LS ELECTRIC America announces the release of its Susol UL Air Circuit Breaker (ACB), engineered to deliver high-capacity performance, advanced protection, and space-saving design for demanding industrial and commercial environments.

The Susol UL ACB offers a wide operating range and high capacity, with ratings up to 6000A and a rated short-circuit capability of up to 130kA at 508 Vac, giving OEMs, panel builders, and consulting engineers a robust solution for low-voltage power distribution systems that must safely handle severe fault conditions.

Smart protection is delivered through an integrated intelligent trip relay that supports advanced protection, measurement, and monitoring functions, including diagnostics, analysis, and communication, helping users implement predictive maintenance strategies while improving overall system reliability.

In addition to its protection capabilities, the Susol UL ACB is built on a flexible, user-friendly design with modular, compact frames that reduce panel footprint and simplify installation, while various connection options and interchangeable trip units and rating plugs make it easier to adapt the breaker to changing load requirements without replacing current transformers.

The breaker maintains 100% N-phase current conduction capacity and is tested and certified to key North American standards, including UL 1066 and ANSI C37, ensuring compliance, reliability, and suitability for critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, and large commercial projects.
