ifm announces the launch of its EBFxxx range, the Passive Splitter with ecolink Fast Connect technology. Designed to enhance efficiency and reliability, this solution is set to transform the way sensors and actuators connect to central controllers in industrial environments. The EBFxxx with ecolink Fast Connect technology offers a robust and decentralised interface for connecting multiple sensors and actuators. 

Unlike traditional solutions, the EBFxxx transmits signals and power purely mechanically and electrically, ensuring seamless integration into industrial automation systems. Its compact design and standardised M12 connectors enable fast, error-free installation directly on machines or systems. At the heart of this innovation is the ecolink Fast Connect technology, which simplifies installation like never before. By eliminating the need for time-consuming screwing of coupling nuts, users can now secure connections with a simple press. This not only saves valuable time but also ensures a secure, tight, and vibration-resistant connection. 

The technology is fully compatible with all M12 connectors adhering to the IEC 61076-2-101 standard, making it a versatile choice for various applications.
