2-in LE5 gas filter for high‑performance industrial and medical gas systems

WITT Gas Controls is expanding its portfolio of high‑performance gas system components with the introduction of the 2-in LE5 gas filter for industrial and medical gas applications in North America.

Engineered for long service life and reliable protection against particles and condensate, the LE5 helps operators improve process stability, protect downstream equipment, and reduce maintenance requirements in demanding environments such as industrial gas supply, metal processing, and other high‑purity gas systems.

The new 2-in LE5 gas filter reliably protects gas supply systems from particles and condensate. It is suitable for all technical gases and is designed to meet maximum oxygen velocity limits in accordance with EIGA 13/20, AIGA 021/20, and CGA G‑4.4, a critical safety factor in O₂ systems.

With its high flow capacity, exceptionally low pressure drop, and 15µm nominal filtration, the LE5 performs reliably even in the most demanding applications. The filter is especially effective when paired with the WITT dome pressure regulator set 757LE/S, supporting stable outlet pressure and long-term system reliability.

Designed for efficient filtration and easy maintenance

High flow rates, including 760 Nm³/h O₂ at 30 bar with a Δp of 50 mbar, enable effective filtration with minimal pressure loss in demanding applications. A replaceable bronze filter element allows servicing without removing the filter from the installation, supporting easy maintenance and reduced downtime. An integrated condensate drain ensures reliable removal of condensate, further protecting downstream components.

The LE5 is available in brass and stainless steel and is suitable for a wide range of technical gases, including O₂, H₂, N₂, Ar, and CO₂, offering flexibility for different gas supply systems and applications.
