Advanced inline mixing 

ProSys Fill, LLC‘s, Custom Mix (CMX) System is engineered for space saving and precision mixing in demanding industrial production. The CMX System enables manufacturers to dose and blend a base product with pigments, dyes, catalysts, slurries (particulate size to 0.04-in or 1mm diameter), or other additives inline, eliminating the waste and delays of traditional batch mixing.

The system’s servo-driven base product and additive dosing with recipe saving & recall deliver exceptional accuracy, allowing operators to instantly switch between saved formulas. CMX supports a process flow range of 6 to 12 gallons per minute and allows custom volumes, making it suitable for a variety of container formats including cartridges, tubes, syringes, bottles, airless pumps, or custom containers.

Manufacturers can blend additives such as pigments, dyes, catalysts, or flavorings at ratios from 1:1 to 1000:1 (0.1% to 50%), empowering both large production runs and short custom batches. The system features variable numbers of static mix elements for tailored manufacturing needs, while fast additive or color changeovers minimize downtime and drastically reduce or eliminate batch mixing changeover time.

Flowmeter confirmation and synchronized dosing technology ensure just-in-time ‘on demand’ production with high precision additive accuracy, reducing giveaway and maintaining consistency across multiple SKUs. With the ability to catalyse after packaging, CMX provides an extended pot life for base products and increased yield, further maximizing operational efficiency and enabling the build-up of viscosity where needed.
