ZIEHL-ABEGG‘s ZAplus Next Gen is a multifunctional ventilation system for building air handling applications.
Available in housing sizes from 450 to 1,000mm, its slimmer design enables larger fan sizes to fit within the same overall dimensions, simplifying integration and retrofit projects without increasing the mechanical footprint.
The system combines an optimised full nozzle, integrated guide vanes, motor suspension and short diffuser to stabilise airflow, improve pressure recovery and support high efficiency in a compact design. Biomimetic FE2owlet and FE3owlet blade designs help reduce turbulence and noise, while fully speed-controllable airflow helps users match air volume to demand and lower operating costs. Composite nozzle construction provides corrosion protection, and AC or ECblue motor options offer added application flexibility.
Designed for fan array installations, the ZAbluefin with spider mount delivers high air performance, efficiency and installation flexibility in compact and demanding air-handling-unit designs. Its bionic blade geometry, including a corrugated leading edge and V-shaped serrated trailing edge, reduces flow separations and eddies to provide up to approximately 15% higher efficiency, lower noise and strong performance even with disturbed inflow.
Available in diameters from 250 to 1,120mm, the fan delivers up to approximately 2,500Pa of static pressure and 90,000m³/h of airflow for demanding and compact air-handling-unit designs.
The one-piece, powder-coated spider mount features integrated handles and orientation-independent installation, reducing assembly complexity without compromising aerodynamic or acoustic performance.
