High-quality cables and assemblies

RS Components (RS) has introduced RS PRO, a wide range of high-quality audio/video (A/V) and data cables, including HDMI, USB and other assorted AV cables.

The range is suited to use by maintenance technicians and engineers working in IT and other AV applications across a multitude of markets and application sectors.

This latest RS PRO range includes a comprehensive series of high-speed HDMI cables, which support the 4K ultra-high-definition resolution and also come with a built-in Ethernet channel and support for ARC (audio return channel) and 3D viewing. 

A key feature of the cables is their gold-flashed contacts, which provide a higher quality finish while also providing anti-corrosive properties.

Variants in the series of USB connections include: A and B, male and female; micro A and B types; mini-A and -B (both 4- and 5-pin types); USB 3.0 -B and -micro variants; USB 3.1 type C devices; and a selection of USB to Lightning connector cables.

The RS PRO range also includes a wide selection of alternative signal-format cables designed to connect sources to displays, including VGA/SVGA, DVI, DisplayPort, and mini-DisplayPort, as well as a series of KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) cables for connection to computers.

All of the HDMI, USB and AV cables are available from RS in a range of colours and different lengths. 

In addition, the range includes a series of serial and parallel cables for legacy applications with various connections offered, including: DB25 and DB9 types, along with 36 Centronics connectors with both standard and micro variants available.
