ICS Robotics and Automation acquired AWL Group

ICS Robotics and Automation, one of the UK’s robotic welding and automation specialists, has been acquired by global robotic automation company AWL Group.

The acquisition strengthens AWL’s position in a thriving UK market through a highly respected company offering extensive experience, expertise and smart machine functionality.



ICS will continue to operate as an independent entity under its own name but with customers benefitting from advanced joining and laser welding technologies and the global supply network that AWL Group offer.

ICS has been providing advanced robotic welding and automation solutions throughout the UK and Ireland since 1989. The company offers turnkey robotic welding and handling solutions to a broad range of industries including automotive, yellow goods, medical and general manufacturing.
