Industrial parts supplier broadens its horizons

To further improve its services to its European customer base, industrial automation parts supplier EU Automation has opened a new facility in Frankfurt, Germany.

EU Automation GmbH has a workforce of eleven that will provide even faster delivery of new, obsolete and reconditioned parts such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), inverters and motors to clients across Europe and further afield.

EU Automation currently delivers to over 220 countries and territories around the globe and offers a nine-hour delivery service in Europe. EU Automation opened its new facility to meet the growing demand of manufacturers looking for replacement parts that will help return them to production.

This new facility at the Segro Business Park in Mörfelden Walldorf has an office of 600 metres squared and a warehouse measuring 1,600 metres squared. EU Automation GmbH is also located fifteen minutes from Frankfurt Airport and has direct connection to the major motorways in the area to reduce delivery time to customers.

“Our convenient location means that we can shave off vital days and hours so that customers can return to production quickly,” explained Bernhard Zwickler, local director for Germany at EU Automation GmbH. “We also work with several courier services to send parts to all of our German customers and customers in neighbouring countries such as France, Belgium and Italy in only a few hours.

“Currently our team liaises with the support of our UK headquarters to cover all of continental Europe and we are gradually adding more territories. In the next two years we expect to grow the capabilities of the facility and be able to serve 90 per cent of the world from our office because of our excellent travel connections.”

EU Automation now has offices in the UK, Chicago USA, Germany and Singapore to help manufacturers across the world source new, obsolete and reconditioned parts from leading manufacturers.
