RS Components (RS) has garnered an award for exceptional performance from Phoenix Contact, a leading maker of industrial connectivity, automation technologies, electronic interface systems and surge-protection devices.

RS was named as Phoenix Contact’s UK distribution partner of the year for 2017 based on its performance in the area of connectivity devices, fulfilling extensive marketing activities around new product introductions, leading to outstanding sales growth.

RS offers one of the market’s widest portfolios of components and systems for industrial electronics applications and is rapidly expanding its range of connectivity products, including a host of innovative new Phoenix Contact products that will be available via RS online during 2018.

“The award recognises the level of commitment and dedication shown by RS,” said Colin Green, UK General Manager at Phoenix Contact. “RS has continued its efforts to actively promote and stock all of our latest device connections products in line with their market launch.”

“As a leader in the interconnect market and a strategic partner, RS is thrilled to be Phoenix Contact’s UK device connections distributor of the year,” said Eric Smith, Vice President for Interconnect and Electromechanical at RS. “This award is a clear recognition of the two companies’ ongoing commitment to bring the best connectivity technologies to the engineers and designers of innovative products.”
