Sensing, measuring and datalogging for the classroom

Conrad Business Supplies introduces a new range of sensing, measuring and datalogging products from the worldwide leader in datalogging, Vernier International.

The products are specifically intended for use in the classroom to allow students to explore and learn scientific concepts, especially in the areas of physics, chemistry and biology.



All of the products have been developed in co-operation with teaching professionals to ensure their suitability for the learning environment.

The use of technology tools for data collection, analysis and visualisation helps students obtain a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and has been shown to improve test scores.

Included in the new range are a total of 37 products from Vernier.

Highlights include the award-winning multi-channel datalogger Labquest 2 with a high resolution touch screen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, five built-in sensors and the ability to record up to 100,000 samples per second.

In addition, a wide range of sensors were introduced, ranging from classic wired probes to the new wireless sensor Go Direct product line, which are easy to handle and are suitable for immediate use in the classroom.

The range includes the top-sellers for chemistry (GDX-CON for conductivity), physics (force and acceleration, GDX-FOR) and biology (oxygen gas sensor, classic O2-BTA).

The teacher friendly and student centred range offers free software for multiple platforms including Windows, Mac OS, Chromebook, iOS and Android.
