Standard volumetric feeders with a two‑week delivery commitment

Hapman announces its new Feeder Quick Ship Program, designed to provide customers with equipment shipment in two weeks. The program is built around stocked components and standard configurations that help shorten lead times for common volumetric feeding applications.

The Feeder Quick Ship Program is intended for customers who do not require strict accuracy requirements, customised controls, or custom fabrication. It is suited for applications handling free to moderately free-flowing powders and granules, including materials with bulk density up to 60 lb/ft3, where volumetric feeding with minimal accuracy requirements is appropriate.

Quick Ship feeders are available as stand-alone units with a lift-off cover for manual refilling, or they can be integrated with upstream refill equipment using an extension hopper and a cover with inlet and vent sock. Standard quick ship configurations include solid shaft screws, straight or Tee nozzle options, a standard 12-inch screw/nozzle length from the feeder face, and a single-drive VFD control panel.

Two feeder models are included in the program. The Model 161SV features a stainless steel chassis with Flexwall hopper and a feed rate range of 0.02 to 1.96 CFH, while the Model 241SV features a stainless steel chassis with Flexwall hopper and a feed rate range of 0.88 to 14 CFH. Available options include multiple screw diameters, straight or Tee nozzle configurations, inlet-style or lift-off covers, and extension hoppers sized at 2 ft3 for the 161SV and 4 ft3 for the 241SV.

By offering these feeders through a pre-defined, stocked program, Hapman can help customers shorten project timelines and move more quickly on equipment replacement, line startup, and standard process upgrades. Current feeder lead times in the broader market typically range from 10 to 20 weeks depending on manufacturer and required options.

The Feeder Quick Ship Program is not intended for loss-in-weight or batching applications, and custom screw/nozzle lengths over 12 inches from the feeder face are not eligible. For applications that require tighter accuracy, customised controls, or non-standard fabrication, a fully custom feeder solution remains the better fit.

Hapman’s Feeder Quick Ship Program is built for processors that treat uptime and responsiveness as competitive advantages. By pairing standardized volumetric feeder configurations with a two‑week delivery commitment, it helps plants complete upgrades, replacements, and new line installations on timelines that conventional lead times cannot match.
