110W Class II external power supplies comply to the EU CoC Tier 2 efficiency standard

Applications include home healthcare and B & BF rated medical products, test, measurement and portable communications equipment.

TDK Corporation announces the introduction of the TDK-Lambda brand DTM110-C8 Class II (no ground wire needed) external power supplies rated at up to 110W output power.

Certified to the IEC 60601-1 (medical) and IEC 60950-1 (ITE) standards, the series also complies to the latest EU CoC (Code of Conduct) Tier 2 and US DoE Level VI efficiency standards.

Applications include home healthcare and B & BF rated medical products, test, measurement and portable communications equipment.

The DTM110-C8 series is packaged in a rugged, low profile IP41 rated enclosure measuring 63mm x 140mm x 33mm (W x L x H).

Output connections are made using a 4-pin power DIN latching connector with other types available upon request.

The 90-264Vac input is applied via a two-pin IEC 320-C8 receptacle.

Seven output voltages are available (12, 15, 19, 24, 28, 36 and 48V) and will operate in ambient temperatures of -20°C to +60°C with applicable derating below 0°C and above 40°C.

Average efficiency is greater than 89% and off-load power consumption is less than 0.15W, measured in accordance with the EU and US efficiency regulations.

The units are safety certified to IEC/EN/UL 60950-1, IEC 60601-1-11 and IEC/EN/UL 60601-1 with CE marking for the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS2 Directives.

The DTM110-C8 also complies with IEC 60601-1-2 Edition 4:2014, EN 55011-B, EN 55032-B EMC and immunity standards. Operational altitude is 5,000m.
