Prototyping platform combines environmental sensors with multi-band support

Mouser Electronics now stocking TI CC1352R LaunchPad SensorTag

Mouser Electronics introduces the TI SimpleLink LPSTK-CC1352R LaunchPad SensorTag kit.

The fully enclosed and battery-operated kit is designed to enable rapid prototyping, helping Internet of Things (IoT) developers evaluate new product ideas without having to develop any hardware or software from scratch.

The LPSTK-CC1352R LaunchPad SensorTag kit, available from Mouser Electronics, offers integrated environmental and motion sensors, multi-band wireless connectivity, Sub 1 GHz swivel antenna, and easy-to-use software to provide a quick path to developing connected products.

The kit incorporates the CC1352R SimpleLink multiband and multiprotocol wireless microcontroller, which supports concurrent Sub-1 GHz and 2.4 GHz operation in a single-chip device.

Enabling a variety of networking options, the microcontroller’s FCC-, CE-, and IC-certified radio is compatible with Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, Zigbee, and 802.15.4 PHY and MAC.

Developers can use the LaunchPad SensorTag kit with kits in the LaunchPad development ecosystem, including the LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1 LaunchPad development kit, to create custom topologies, using the microcontroller’s broad offering of connectivity stacks.

The LaunchPad SensorTag kit also includes ambient light, temperature and humidity, Hall effect, and accelerometer sensors, with the flexibility to add many more through TI BoosterPack ecosystem and other components.
