B&K Tescia measures in real-time using certified algorithms

HBK’s B&K Tescia is a new system solution for testing, real-time monitoring, feature extraction and recording that targets vibration, acoustics and rotating machinery.

The system incorporates unique capabilities and a user-centric workflow to reduce setup time, safeguard the test items, and improve data quality and test-result validation.

The ability to incorporate steady state (typically low-speed temperature and pressure measurement) data into the system and the capability to generate steady state measurements means that the time investment spent in the test set-up produces actionable results as the test is being executed and enables the immediate correlation of data and effects for better event-cause clarity.

B&K Tescia measures in real-time using certified algorithms that can be applied to a vast array of standardised tests.

Aligned with Brüel & Kjær’s approach of recognising the different roles that exist in the testing process, the system is structured to address the needs of users for each stage in the complete testing process.
