Digital variable impedance transducer non-contact measurement

KMM Precision Measuring‘s digiVIT digital variable impedance transducer is for industrial applications that demand flexible, reliable noncontact measurement. From automation and process control to condition monitoring, laboratory testing, engine dynamics testing, and part sorting, the digiVIT is designed to support a wide range of measurement challenges.

The digiVIT is the most advanced digital signal conditioner for noncontact linear position, displacement, and proximity sensing. It is a self-configuring system capable of working with nearly any sensor from any manufacturer, as well as any conductive target, helping simplify deployment across different applications and environments.

A user-friendly graphical interface makes setup and connectivity easier, while cloud-based data access and monitoring support Industrial Internet of Things applications. The system also features pushbutton calibration, temperature compensation, zeroing, scrolling menus for intuitive setup, and Ethernet communication capabilities.

Additional features include a large easy-to-read digital display, embedded intelligence, and the ability to detect missing or shorted sensors. Because all functions are accessible without a PC, users can configure and optimize the system directly in the field, helping reduce complexity and improve productivity.

The digiVIT also supports remote position sensing and data collection, and can be calibrated in the field to fit application requirements. Output options include 0-10VDC, +/-10VDC, 0-5VDC, +/-5VDC, 4-20mA, and 0-20mA, giving users flexibility for integration into existing systems.
