Avnet Abacus named EMEA Distributor of the Year by Molex

Avnet Abacus, one of Europe’s leading interconnect, passive, electro-mechanical and power distributors, and a regional business unit of Avnet, has been recognised by Molex for the third consecutive year as EMEA Distributor of the Year at the Molex annual EMEA distribution summit, held in the UK in April.

Two additional award categories were also won by the Avnet Abacus regional sales and marketing teams: The Nordic region was awarded Regional Distributor of the Year for the North (UK and Nordic) and the French team won the Regional Distributor of the Year award for the region consisting of France, Benelux and South Africa.

Molex has acknowledged Avnet Abacus’s success across a set of key indicators, and in particular for the significant number of new projects that resulted in design registrations and conversion, as well as achieving a sustainable sales growth through outstanding technical knowledge and new product introduction (NPI) investment and training.
