Modified FS-70-RD design delivers horizontal bottle feeding at speeds up to 800 parts per minute

Feeder for high-speed horizontal bottle feeding

Shibuya Hoppmann‘s FS-70-HS Feeder is a modified version of the FS-70-RD engineered for higher-speed feeding performance in demanding packaging applications.

Built on the proven FS-70, the new patent-pending FS-70-HS incorporates different tooling and a modified feeding approach designed specifically for horizontal bottle handling. While the standard FS-70-RD uses a standard scallop feed system, the FS-70-HS features a horizontal scallop configuration that enables horizontal bottles to be fed at rates up to 800 per minute, representing a major performance difference for applications requiring significantly higher throughput.

Like other feeders in the FS family, the 50mL bottle dedicated FS-70-HS is built for durability and reliable long-term performance. The stainless steel housing, FDA-compliant materials, air clutch for smooth torque transmission, and hinged polycarbonate cover with safety interlocks position the feeder for demanding pharmaceutical, healthcare, and industrial environments.

The new FS-70-HS expands that capability with a configuration tailored to customers that need faster bottle handling without compromising control or equipment quality. Its specialised tooling and horizontal bottle orientation make it well suited for manufacturers seeking a robust centrifugal feeding solution for high-speed operations.
