How to manage multiple cables at great heights for stage and theatre

Taking place on 5th and 6th June at Alexandra Palace, London, ABTT Theatre Show highlights all things relating to live performance technology in the world of theatre, events, festivals, sport, film and TV.

During the show, igus will be displaying its bearing and cable management systems for the theatre and stage industry.

One of the important highlights on the stand will be the new 21m e-spool cable reeling system.

With a slip-ring-free cable drum, the compact system can safely guide power, audio, bus or fibre optic cables above or below stage.

The 21m system closes the gap between the spring-loaded standard e-spool for pull-out lengths of up to 14 metres and the motor-driven e-spool for large-scale projects, for example in opera houses, with either spring- or motor-driven retraction options available.

Justin Leonard, the-chain director at igus, extends a personal invitation to designers working in the theatre and stage industry to speak to him directly during the show.
