Prefeeders gently elevating and transferring products while minimising damage, increasing handling efficiency

Shibuya Hoppmann‘s Horizontal Discharge Elevating Prefeeders gently elevate and transfer products while supporting flexible integration into a wide range of packaging and processing environments. Designed to minimise product damage and improve handling efficiency, the EH Series combines durable construction with configurable operation for reliable product flow across diverse applications.

The Horizontal Discharge Elevating Prefeeders utilise a cleated belt conveyor design that gently transports products from bulk loading areas to downstream feeding and processing equipment. Unlike traditional discharge systems, the horizontal discharge configuration allows products to be transferred smoothly while minimising scuffing, scratching, and impact damage. The design also enables the system to discharge over existing equipment, providing increased flexibility for line integration and plant layouts with limited floor space.

Constructed with stainless steel frames for durability and sanitation, the EH Series is designed to support demanding production environments while simplifying cleaning and maintenance. The systems are available in multiple sizes, including the EH-08, EH-15, EH-25, EH-35, and EH-50 models, allowing manufacturers to select configurations based on application requirements and product volumes.

Support seamless integration into industrial packaging and processing operations

Available in multiple configurations, the EH Series supports varying throughput requirements, discharge heights, and production layouts to accommodate a wide range of bulk product handling applications. The systems are designed to provide continuous, controlled product flow while reducing manual product loading and improving operational efficiency across packaging lines. Adjustable system configurations also allow manufacturers to optimize integration with existing downstream equipment while supporting flexible facility layouts.

Designed for operational flexibility, the prefeeders can accommodate a wide variety of products and package types across packaging operations requiring gentle product handling and controlled elevation. The systems are suitable for use in pharmaceutical, food, personal care, and consumer goods applications where maintaining product integrity during transfer is critical.

The EH Series also supports seamless integration with downstream feeding and automation equipment, helping manufacturers streamline product flow while reducing manual handling requirements. Its elevated horizontal discharge capability allows facilities to optimize existing line layouts without requiring extensive equipment reconfiguration.
