Foremost Electronics, the Essex, UK-based specialist distributor of electromechanical components, has been appointed as a distributor for Icotek GmbH.

Icotek have been developing innovative cable entry and EMC cable shielding systems for over 15 years, hold a number of patents and are designed-in to global OEMs and leading companies in a wide number of industries.



Icotek products now available from Foremost include ATEX and railway cable entry systems specified to EN 45545-3, cable entry frames and glands for cables with connectors fitted, cable entry plates for cables without connectors, brush cable pass-throughs, strain relief and cable management, EMC cable shield clamps and the CONFIX cable conduit system.

Applications for icotek products include machine tools, railway technology, wind turbines, solar technology, vehicle construction and packaging machines, automation and robotics.
