RS Components introduces the Molex Connected Home online hub

RS Components (RS) has announced the Molex interactive Connected Home technology hub, which is now available on the DesignSpark website, RS’ online design community for engineers and makers.

Developed by RS and Molex, one of the world’s leading suppliers of connectors and interconnect components, the Connected Home hub brings together all of Molex’s advanced connectivity technologies available from RS that can help developers and engineers create solutions to realise the connected home.

Our homes are continually evolving to meet the demands of our ever-changing lifestyles.

Increasingly intelligent and integrated smart systems are bringing next-generation connected devices into the home, such as smart appliances and thermostats, networked security and lighting, and wireless media devices.

The RS and Molex interactive Connected Home hub offers five key application areas: security and surveillance; home automation; smart appliances; home streaming entertainment; and energy and utilities.

To support engineers and buyers, the hub provides links to the extensive portfolio of custom and standard connectivity solutions developed by Molex for use in the modern home and available to purchase from RS, ranging from LED displays to antennas and USB connectors.

The RS and Molex Connected Home is available on DesignSpark.
