Gearhead designed to withstand maximum input speeds of 18,000rpm

R26HT high torque gearhead

The R26HT high torque gearhead is the latest addition to Portescap‘s motor accessory portfolio and pairs with its existing 22mm brushless slotless motor technologies.

Offering up to 4Nm continuous torque within a 26mm frame size, the R26HT delivers 30% to 50% more torque than similar-sized competitive gearbox solutions while simultaneously providing higher efficiency levels of 85%.

This gearhead has been designed to withstand maximum input speeds of 18,000 rpm, making the R26HT a solution to withstand the very high input speeds associated with brushless DC motors. This feature, combined with its high torque output, makes it well-suited for applications within the Robotics and Industrial Power Tools markets, including screwdrivers, nut runners, grippers, and AGV’s.

The R26HT is also ideal for those looking to transition from brush DC to brushless DC motors for improved lifetimes and performances, given its ability to withstand the BLDC motors’ high input speeds.
