Connectors for harsh environments

The DEUTSCH series connectors are characterised by their extremely robust architecture and are now available from Conrad.

The best-known DEUTSCH series DT is available in different versions as a two-, three-, four- and six-pole in a multi-pin array.

Customers can choose between housings for assembly with pin or socket contacts.

A connector consists of the housing, the contacts and a safety wedge.

The connectors are mainly used in industrial areas with harsh environmental conditions. They are resistant to both high and low temperatures (-55 to 150°C) as well as vibrations, shocks, liquids and chemicals.

High voltages up to 1500V also present no problem. All housings are designed in accordance to protection class IP68. In addition, they are available with different numbers of contacts depending on the series.

The installation is very easy and offers much flexibility: with optional wire-to-wire connections and PCB mounting as well as flange mounting.

Dedicated accessories are also available, such as coding pins, sealing plugs and a test pin.

Mounting tools include crimping hand tools for different contacts and a disassembly tool.

The electronics distributor Börsig supplies the well-established DEUTSCH quality connectors from TE Connectivity.
