Servo drive offers more power and control in a compact package

Kollmorgen has announced the new AKD2G 24A servo drive. This high-amperage drive is for applications that require precision and power, such as conveyors, vertical lifting systems, and robotics.

Kollmorgen expands the performance and flexibility of its flagship AKD2G servo drive series with the new, 24A drive

The AKD2G 24A offers a number of advantages over other servo drives, including:

Higher amperage: The AKD2G 24A can deliver up to 3x the continuous current rating of other drives in its class, making it suitable for intermittent-use, high-power applications.

Compact size: The AKD2G 24A is a single-cable optimised drive that is easy to install and integrate into a machine.

Configurable options: The AKD2G 24A offers a variety of configurable options, including safety level, I/O, feedback, and fieldbus. This allows customers to tailor the drive to their specific application
