SPS IPC Drives 2017: Schaffner unveils EMC, power quality and power magnetics developments

Schaffner will be exhibiting at the SPS IPC Drives 2017 trade fair (28th-30th November 2017, Nuremberg, Germany) and introducing product innovations from its EMC, Power Quality and Power Magnetics divisions.

SPS will be the first opportunity to see the new Ecosine Active Sync range of active harmonic filters.

This market leading modular and ultra-compact design provides THDI <5%, even for complex and time-varying load profiles, has 3 and 4 wire versions and features 3-level IGBT inverter topology for reduced power losses.

The range is highly configurable for a huge variety of harmonic mitigation applications.

On display will be Schaffner’s latest turnkey LCL filter for active front end regenerative drives requiring an efficient and matched grid connection.

And also on the stand will be a range of power magnetics components including transformers and water-cooled inductors for medium frequency and customer-specific applications.

Finally, Schaffner will be unveiling the new RT chokes series. This additional range of inductors completes the portfolio of common mode chokes available which now covers the whole PCBA power range.
