Mouser Electronics has added a new product from Analog Devices Inc to portfolio, the ADcmXL 1021-1 Vibration Sensor Module.

Designed for use in industrial and transportation condition-based monitoring systems, this single axis MEMS-based vibration sensor detects early indications of mechanical wear that might lead to machine failure. 

The module incorporates a wide-bandwidth, low-noise MEMS accelerometer together with an analog-to-digital converter and signal processing chain.

  • Capable of high-speed data sampling up to 220k samples per second
  • An ultra-low noise density ADXL 1002 accelerometer 26µg/√Hz yields high resolution
  • Input operating range of ±50g suits high-bandwidth industrial IoT applications
  • Fast prototyping using the EVAL-ADCM-1 evaluation kit.
